The Body Shop Candied Ginger for Christmas 2011

Here’s a new scent from The Body Shop, which consistently puts out Christmassy fragrances for the holiday season.

Described as a warm and aromatic fragrance with sweet and spicy notes, Candied Ginger is surprisingly pleasant despite its seemingly heady fullness. I love its sparkling character – if you’re fond of sweet fizzy scents, you’ll probably like this. It actually reminds me of a carbonated drink; more specifically, sarsaparilla or root beer. It’s uplifting and undeniably festive!

A whole range of bath and body care is available in Candied Ginger. If you fall in love with this fragrance, it’s best to stock up on these products – as with all the Christmas scents from The Body Shop, Candied Ginger is limited edition.

I love the Christmas limited edition scents. I have stocked up on spiced vanilla which is my favourite. Last year I was too late and everything was sold out! Cranberry is a close second :)

I love this, it has the typical sweet not spicy ginger we get in most ginger off the shelves perfume/skincare but this is way sweeter in the sarasparilla/rootbeer kinda way(never thought of it till you mentioned). It is nice to showe with it start of day as well as end of day just before bed. I also hv the oil on the burner almost all the time.

I was surprised with this one too – thought I wouldn’t like it, but it’s lovely! Hopefully Father Christmas brings me some!

    Hey Jan,

The Christmas scents are quite pretty and so season-appropriate!

    Hey Farah,

I was surprised by the root beer note too. This fragrance surprised me with its balance. :)

    Hi Sam,

Did you receive some after all? ;)
