Makeup Mail: Makeup Mix from Makeup Masala

I received a package from Makeup Masala two days ago. In it were EcoTools Bamboo Lash & Brow Groomer, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Horse Raddish and a Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics Color My World Baked Eyeshadow set.

Everything looks so pretty!

In all, I paid around US$22 (slightly under S$34). The store offers free worldwide shipping with a purchase of US$20 or more; great for non-US buyers. After I had paid for the items, I received clear emails in quick succession detailing the progress of my order a sign of good customer service.

This package arrived in less than a week.
The pencil and the brush were loose in the padded envelope but the baked shadows were securely wrapped up. The store also included a free mineral sample and a card with information regarding receiving a free mineral eyeshadow in a subsequent order.

The postage turned out to be around US$6, slightly more than a quarter of the total amount I had paid and somewhat generous of the store to absorb. That said, Eyeko is still the clear winner in this aspect. ;)

Thoughts on the individual items to come later; I have been sleeping much too late for my own good. My skin is protesting and the eyebags are accumulating a fluid debt…not good at all for a makeup maven! :D

    Hi Ann!

What did you order? I’ve never tried any of the things in the package, although a client showed me her NYX pencil once. :) Enjoy your package!

    Hi Prettypapillon,

I haven’t tried Ecotools at all; this is my first purchase. FWIW, the brush looks sturdy and well-made.

    Hi Vivavoomz,

I haven’t had a chance to try them but the swatches that I’ve seen looked intense. ;) I hope you managed to catch the sale!
